Air Canada awarded a 7 million dollar performance contract for the energy retrofit of the Dorval maintenance base in Montreal, Quebec.  Work included energy efficiency measures, and the installation of a new stand-by diesel generating station assuring the essential electrical services.  Personnel executing this contract under the Econoler Corporate Banner are currently officers and employees of Global.

Global and Premier Tech Environmental Services are completing a marketing and implementation team to service the Brazil market.  Premier Tech is 1500 employees strong and develops more than $300 million dollars annually in world wide sales.  Using SBR Technology, the Global/Premier Tech team is in a position to respond to most all waste water treatment challenges, from industrial effluent to residential waste treatment.

Global personnel were officers of Econoler International, the Hydro Quebec Energy Services Company, and the first Energy Services Company (ESCO) in Canada.  Personnel were also involved in the Hydro Quebec Energy Efficiency Program Development and Delivery throughout the Province of Quebec.

Gaz Métro is the natural gas distributor within the Province of Quebec and has undertaken a number of Energy Efficiency Programs directed to the industrial sector.  Global personnel have participated in the program seminars, training and delivery to Quebec industry.  Global is an accredited energy services provider partner.

Enbridge Natural Gas is the major natural gas distributor in Ontario and also operates in the Province of British Columbia.  Enbridge is a partner in the TransCanada pipeline corporation and has interest in the Nova Scotia gas fields.  Global has participated with Enbridge as an accredited  energy services provider partner.

Global Personnel have participated in the BC Hydro Power Smart Program, and with BC Hydro in the delivery of the Canadian Government Federal Buildings Initiative (FBI) covering Canadian Government owned and operated buildings, and military installations in the Province of British Colombia.

Global Personnel have participated in the Union Gas Energy Efficiency programs for Ontario Commercial and  Industrial installations in the Ontario Service Territory of Union Gas.

Global Personnel have participated in the Sherbrook Electric Company Energy Efficiency Programs promoted by the municipal utility.

Global Personnel participated in Electric Utility Energy Efficiency Program, and collaborated with the utility to encourage Paranese Industry to implement EE measures.

Global Personnel assisted this new Paranese ESCO, partially owned by the electric utility, with the start up of ESCO operations, development of procedures, contracts; and training.

Global Personnel worked with Efficientia personnel in the delivery of the GERBI program financed by the Canadian Government Canadian Climate Change Development Fund..

Global Personnel delivered the pre-feasibility report and preliminary business plan to the directors of CEMIG substantiating the business case for the creation of an ESCO..

Global Personnel prepared and delivered the feasibility report and  business plan to the director of LIGHT substantiating the business case for the creation of LIGHT ESCO..

Global Personnel assisted the LIGHT ESCO start up with a business plan, training, documentation, contracts, financial forecasting and marketing strategies...

Global prepared and delivered ESCO training to Petrobras BR operating personnel for the CEDAE Project and to offer EPC based support services to Petrobras BR clients .

Global collaborated with Petrobras SA/CONPET in the delivery of the Canadian Climate Change Fund Program, GERBI .  CONPET personnel were trained by GERBI in the development and delivery of integrated Energy Efficiency Projects..

Global prepared and delivered a waste and potable water treatment operating cost reduction feasibility study to CEDAE, the Rio de Janeiro Sewer and Water Company, and to the  City of Volta Redonda, in the State of Rio de Janeiro.  These two studies were funded by CIDA, a Canadian Government Agency.

Global received funding from the Canadian Economic Development Fund to create Global MVO Brasil Ltda for the delivery of Canadian Government CCCD Funded Energy and Environmental GHG reduction Services in  Brazil..

Global prepared and delivered EE and EPC training to DND personnel under the Federal Buildings Initiative of the Canadian Government.  Under the direction of John Cowan, Engineering Interface Inc., Global prepared and delivered the DND version of the FBI EPC contract and the terms of reference for the Request for Proposal..

Frederick Day of Global was a founding Vice President of CAESCO and served on the Board of Directors for a number or years.  While an office of CAESCO participated in the negotiations for the accreditation of CAESCO members by the FBI program, discussions with Treasury Board to permit government agencies and departments to retain savings so as to benefit from Energy Performance Contracting., and training of government employees under the FBI program.

Global prepared and delivered EE and EPC training to Public Works Operating Personnel across Canada.  Global assisted in the development of the Public Works  version of the EE/EPC contract utilized by Public Works when providing EE services to the Canadian Government Agencies.

Frederick Day of Global prepared and delivered EE and EPC training to operating personnel of Canadian Government agencies, departments, and ministries.  He also was involved in the founding and operation of the Energy Management Task Force for Canadian Commercial Buildings and served on the Energy Management Task Force for Health Care Facilities.

Frederick Day of Global prepared and delivered EE and EPC training to Brazilian Engineering Companies, and emerging Brazilian ESCOs over a six year term.  It was during this time that Day and  Global became involved in the start-up ABESCO, the Brazilian Association of Energy Service Companies.

Frederick Day of Global prepared and delivered EE and EPC training to municipal employees, identified projects for operating cost reduction in ice arenas and office facilities.  Assisted in the development of terms of reference for the engagement of energy services companies by the City of Montreal.

Frederick Day of Global collaborated with the Ministers for the initiation of Energy Services Contracts in Province of Quebec health and educational facilities.  Under this program more than 100 Province of Quebec schools and hospitals were retrofitted under energy performance contracts.

Frederick Day of Global prepared and delivered EE and EPC training to municipal and university employees, while in Singapore developing the Singapore ESCO for Econoler International.  Mr. Day also assisted the emerging ESCO in start up training, and identification/evaluation of the initial projects.

Frederick Day of Global prepared and delivered EE and EPC training to .engineers, utility personnel, and firms desiring to become ESCOs in New Delhi, India with funding by US Aid over a 3 year period.

In collaboration with John Cowan of Engineering Interface, Frederick Day of Global prepared and delivered ESCO start up services and EE and EPC training to a municipally owned central steam distribution utility in Krakow Poland over a two year term.

Frederick Day of Global prepared and delivered EE and EPC training to local engineers and collaborated with BC Hydro’s Power Smart Program to municipalities, industry and government agencies just prior to the separation of the country into two Republics.

In collaboration with Lewis Engineering of Halifax, NS Frederick Day of Global prepared and delivered EE and EPC training to an emerging ESCO in Honduras, under a CIDA-INC contract.

Frederick Day of Global prepared and delivered ESCO start up services and EE and EPC training to an emerging ESCO owned and operated by an NGO in Lithuania.  

In collaboration with André Simard & Associates of Quebec City, Global undertook a feasibility study of the sanitary landfill, the remediation of the landfill, the operating cost reduction of the potable and waste water plants and .the design of a new landfill.  The study was funded by the Canadian International Development Agency Program for International Cooperation

In collaboration with Econoler International Inc., Global prepared and delivered an in-depth feasibility study of the operating costs for the Rio de Janeiro waste water and potable water plants.  The study was funded by the Canadian International Development Agency, Program for International Cooperation.

In collaboration with Marbek Resource Consultants,, Global prepared and delivered ESCO start up services and EE and EPC training to emerging Brazilian ESCOs in the states of Parana, Rio Grande do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Cearà , Bahia and Para.  This first Canadian effort was financed by Industry Canada.

ABESCO was a key collaborator to Global and Marbek in the delivery of the CCCDF funded GERBI program, directed towards Brazilian Industry, increasing productivity and reducing operating costs.

Marbek and Global prepared and delivered the Canadian Climate Change Development Fund Program, Greenhouse Gas Reduction in Brazilian Industry (GERBI) over a 3 year term.  The program simultaneously trained the supply side (ESCOs) and the demand side (INDUSTRY) in energy efficiency based performance contracting and fully integrated project development incorporating energy, process, productivity and environmental consideration.  Marbek Resource Consultants, & Global prepared and delivered ESCO start up services and EE and EPC training to emerging Brazilian ESCOs in the states listed below.  The GERBI partners are also listed below. This two phase Canadian effort was financed by CCCDF and administered by CIDA of the Canadian Government.  .

Global formed a consortia with the Demand Side Energy Group of Winnipeg, Manitoba to provide a structured industrial energy and environmental auditing service to the Brazilian Energy Efficiency market.  The project team has worked in Brazil over the past ten years and has more than 50 years of cumulative Energy Efficiency Auditing experience in industry and water treatment facilities.
